Meet Coach Tory Gisleson
You won’t find another coach who loves training as much as me.

I am a veteran of the toughest endurance races in New England
For the past 20 years I’ve completed, crewed or coached athletes in the Boston Marathon, Seven Sisters, Mid State Massive Ultra, Infinitus, Snow Devil, Bloodroot and Sine Nomine to name some of my most memorable. If it’s a Mountain Trail Race I’ve probably run it.

After peaking in Ultra Running I fell in love with Powerlifting
Nothing beats Strength Training and powerlifting is the greatest expression of that with Strongman a close second. After decades of running I dedicated myself to the sport. I competed in tested Raw Classic powerlifting and broke the league all time squat record in my division. I retired after achieving this goal but I still pursue new PR’s in the comfort of my local gym.

Rucking has been a love hate relationship that began during my time in the Marine Corps
It is a burden that gives you access to the world’s most remote and beautiful destinations. In the military we carried the necessary gear for combat. In the wilderness we carry a kit to help you survive. In competition we carry the required gear list at the required weight and you bring only the bare necessities to complete the task at hand. All three require you to carry the burden of a loaded ruck. My ruck has been through some of the toughest events in the world, the Spartan Death Race, GORUCK Team Assessment and Selection, the 26.2 Mile Boston Tough Ruck and the 62 Mile Cateran Yomp through the highlands of Scotland.
